About the toolbar
The CDS Toolbar integrates with Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) and Mozilla Firefox 1.0 (or later) browsers to provide quick and permanent access to powerful searching. It can be used as an entry point to search the Web or your desktop without having to start Copernic Desktop Search. The toolbar features the following items:
Copernic logo: Quick menu of common commands.
Keyword box: Type in your search keywords, or click the down arrow and choose terms in the search history. You can use search operators to refine your query.
Search Web: CDS performs simultaneous searches on multiple search engines in some domains of interest. The toolbar allows you to explore more of the Web than any single search engine. Available categories are: The Web, Images, News and Shopping.
Search Desktop: Use the toolbar as the entry point to your PC. No need to open a different program to look for each kind of file; the toolbar allows you to search while you surf the Web. Available categories are: All, Emails, Files, Music, Pictures, Videos, Contacts, Favorites and History.
Word-find buttons: Allow you to scroll through documents and quickly locate keyword occurrences.
Web search results are displayed in the browser. Desktop searches start the application and their results are displayed in the main window
