Manage results

CDS displays the results in the results list area. They can be sorted according to various criteria and shown in groups. When you select a result, CDS displays a software-based preview of the selected result. To facilitate examination of a selected result, Copernic Desktop Search can highlight the keywords in the document preview and scroll to the first occurrence automatically.

Word-find buttons

The header of the preview section features a specific word-find button () for each keyword (up to 5 buttons). Click a word-find button to scroll to the next or previous occurrence of the corresponding keyword in the document preview. To go to the previous occurrence, hold the Shift key while clicking the word-find button.

Action on results

The preview section also features action on result buttons. They vary according to the type of file.
