Rebuild the index

CDS can delete the existing index file and build a new one. Please note that rebuilding the index from scratch requires more time and computer resources than performing a mere index update.

To rebuild the index

1. In the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Select the Advanced tab.

3. In the Index location section, click Clear index and reindex all.

4. Click OK to confirm. The Confirm window will automatically close.

IMPORTANT: Copernic Desktop Search needs to restart for this change to take effect.
